The Phoenix Project by Gene Kim et al reads like The Goal by Eliyahu Goldratt. I read the latter while I was at University of Alabama almost three decades ago, and the book made me love and appreciate operations management, which I majored in. Cool that The Goal has an illustrated version, too.
I was halfway reading through The Phoenix Project when I posted this. And what do you know? The Goal was mentioned LMAO.

I’m about to start doing what I was suppose to have done early this year: reflecting and goal setting. After leaving my full-time job near the end of last year, all I wanted to do was sleep and recuperate.
